*Note* Anything “Sweet” can be made downright “Jaw-Achingly Sweet” so… just add more DRAMA… or glitter and jewels. That werks too.
I – generally – do not like baby shades. Even as a Bubba-Raptor, I outright refused to nest in any of that Duck Egg, Lilac, Rose Pink nonsense – Blek. My preference has always been Black and Green, sometimes Blue – but even then, it’s a very limited pallet. Review my wardrobe for further evidence of the previous statement.
I was somewhat of a Goth in my younger years and being an Aussie HAVE gotten heatstroke due to my fashion choices. Numerous times in fact, one time even on my birthday! I then threw up on the lawn of the House of Australian Politics and then promptly fainted. Always Theatrical, Darlings! Lol, my Raptor-Dad had to carry me back to the car and the Police thought he was abducting me. Yes, preference for what I wear DOES outweigh practicality, even safety. I’ll even risk my parental units being slathered in mace, tazered an/or arrested – to look on point. AT LEAST I’D LOOK BOSS ON THE NEWS COVERAGE!
At least it’s a funny story, and it gets worse – He didn’t take me home either; you see, we were sightseeing with my relatives… and we visited 3 more places before my Aunty-Raptor suggested that we all head home. Apparently pulling over every 15 minutes, for me to ATTEMPT to be sick… is a buzzkill. For them… not me. Raptor-Dad’s peace offering was Watermelon Gatorade, that I promptly threw
back in his face up on the side of the road. Sigh. A magical time, I was quite sad-face that day. Goths, am I right?
As a Reformed-Goth, I still adore the colour black… but I HAVE moved on. Rewind the 70’s, pretend colour Television is being rolled-out – this > Raptor is now in COLOUR. GLORIOUS (COMMONWEALTH SPELT) COLOUR!!!
A’hem. Now – get this look. Cover all your talons in opaque baby blue, leaving the feature talon – that one is to be gold! Then while the gold on the feature talon is drying/to be cured, pack on some gold/bronze tone glitter – wham bang, Maze! Finish the look by adding 3 jewels to the middle talon. Voila. Be in awe, it’s not black – but it’s not bad either!
I did really enjoy this look – I’m still coming to terms with having a slightly reduced length. It’s like what I imagine prisoners go through when they ask – “Hey, what day is it?” and then realise they have a few YEARS LEFT! Very dark, Darling. I’m really struggling to cope.
So what you think, Darling?
Share your experiences with IMPRACTICAL FASHION CHOICES… Did it make you ill? Was it a side effect or was the the choice really THAT hazardous for your health? To me, a hat made of Cat Hair would ruin my year; between the skin rashes, STD like eye itchiness, sneezing, weazing etc. I said you need to look Fabulous long term, if a short term gain affects long term game – refrain.
