Juxta-what?! Camouflage khaki vs. OTT Ombre – for when you want your prey to see you coming… looking fabulous.
If you want to blend in while standing out… like if Predator was a Pageant Mum – think if Predator put his/her/It’s child in a pageant… “No, Sandy! Step. Pivot. Turn. Step. Step. Not, Step. Pivot. Turn. Turn. Step!” Twinkle hands, B!tches – make em’ shine Girls!
To all the Darling
Venus Fly Trap Wallflowers – all my Man-Eating Wallflowers – there’s no harm in playing with a few contrasting colours. I spent majority of my Raptor-Hatchling years as a Tom-boy – shocking. Which meant an insane selection of camouflage and khaki pants – think Batman, but my pants were somewhat noisier. *rustle* *rustle* *rustle*
On the subject of getting one’s Tomboy on – between catching reptiles/bugs/arachnids, BMX’ing, backyard roof stunts – super surprised I made it to a fully developed Raptor; with all talons accounted for. Legit; they’re not that scared-up either… weird. That and I only embraced pink during my University years, mostly because I really LOVE Drag Queens. They’re fabulous.
My neighbour growing-up used to have a wadding pool (you know, the one’s for small babies/toddlers to urinate in while their parents hanging out the washing), a trampoline and a sloped roof. My older sister, my neighbour and I used to jump off the roof, onto the trampoline… thank f@#$ we had that few inches of water in the wadding pool to absorb the impact. To confirm; I admitted to being a Tomboy, not that I was a particularly smart Tomboy. It all came to abrupt halt when Mother-Raptor can home from work and proceeded to chase us – threatening bodily harm – as we might have done bodily harm to ourselves.
How to get this look – Khaki (mine has a slight gold shimmer) all talons excluding your feature talon. Put some golden glitter design lines on all your khakis to finish – I used a slight geo-Art-Deco design. Feature talon is a neon pink base, with a darker purple bleeding in from the top. I did try to sponge – but it just does. not. work. with. gels. Sigh – be patient, smudge and drag. Drag is Fabulous. Least I don’t make you tuck, Ha.
Super flirty look – although a few peeps were confused by the Khaki. Think I’ll do a full Tomboy look to follow this one up. I really enjoyed it, khaki is one of those shade I will never throw shade at. We have a long and really complicated history. I love khaki.
So what you think, Darling?
