Orgasmic Achro-Holographic for when you’re feeling daring and say… to Hell with it! I. Want. All. The. Colours. The safe word is: ‘Rainbow’ OR Nerd-safe word: ‘Spectrum’
I’ve been trying to suppress my urges for sometime now and it’s really hard. Especially when these urges are in relation to all things: Shiny, Glossy, Matte, Glittery, Fluffy, Lacy etc.. Basically I’m a big bird with a big fetish for anything fabulous, but one MUST -and I cannot stress this point enough – accessorize with the correct items, in the right sequence and at the right level. Example: I’m not going to wear a fitted blazer, pearls, raver boots and stilettos… one of these things doesn’t match.
Plot twist, it’s the blazer… no one wears blazers to raves! Pay attention Worm, I’ll be marking you on this later! *cough*
I once knew a girl, lets call her Hoggle. Now Hoggle was quite handsome – I use the word because she looked like a young Arnie and was also a terrible human being – but didn’t quite know how to dress. Hoggle was under the impression that if you spent a lot of money on something – like a Kappa matching tracksuit – it was appropriate to wear as formal attire. Mid-drift or no; only people who are able to pull off that type of look are middle aged Russian Mobsters. Even then; the amount of $$$ hanging around their necks in gold chains… would pay for a lot of BSDM dungeon time. Or lap dances… from unicorns. Sh!t is expensive and balances out~
The low down on this look – it is very Leather and Latex looking… get all your setup arranged, prepped and in order; black, grey, white with
studded rhinestone and metal paddles caviar detailing. You can chop and choose which colours used; black through to white – navy through to sky blue. Have fun, get a bit naughty and experiment!
Two of your colours will be coated and I mean really lathered in fine spectral glitter; you’ll need one that has a REALLY pronounced halo-holographic effect – super visible on thumb, ring and pinky talons.
As for the remaining talons – the latex/patent leather looking ones, pop on some rhinestones and metal caviar – I used a AB-black and silver rhinestones. These little gems are to play with the light in a similar way as the spectral glitter with the same light frequencies, at a larger scale – finish with a topcoat and matching gloves. I jest, fabulous fiends don’t over our best assets. Ever.
I really enjoyed this look – it’s been a welcome departure from insane amounts of detail and is a good balance of nearly-OTT and wearable. Also – super distracting while driving… who am I kidding. I’m lucky if I can see over the steering wheel (ha, I’m short – joking), as I’m always checking myself out in the rear-vision mirror. Like I said: I’m a bird… a deviant, deviant bird.
So what you think, Darling?
Share your experiences with spectral holographic glitter. Did you crash your vehicle looking at them? Mow down a road-sign… how about a Hoggle. You can tell me, I won’t be mad – latexI might even buy you a White Russian.
