An alternative look, for an offbeat bride(zilla)
As some of you may be aware, I got hitched back in December – and between all the chaos that is “wedding prep” AK.A. transforming into a fully functioning Bridezilla… I struggled choosing a talon look. Absolutely. 100%. Flailed. *Note I only had 4 meltdowns over 18 months, that’s a hell of an achievement.
This look is an awful lot all at once, just like me. One is part geometric pattern, part glitter, part gold with drawn geometric detailing. Recipe for a quirky, interesting look and very much left of centre for bridal. I’m not into traditional looking bridal manicure *cough* French Manicure with a flower *cough*
I was in an unusual position to actually pull off this design selection, as I didn’t have a traditional white gown – instead I opted for a designer jewel tone gown (Oscar De Le Renta), with no embellishment and with all design featured in the lustre fabric and drape. Super awesome. So these talons, really werked.
The progression through these shots, you can see that I’ve exaggerated the wear/duration of this look. By slowly abrading the surface of the Geo-patterned nails, to show how wearing the pattern only adds more interest the longer you wear it.
So what you think, Darling?
Share your bridal nail nightmares, how long did it take you to pick something? And no. Not your nose… Growse dude, Growse.
