What a revelation!
Geometric Neon-Classical Mosaic, with a blue/diamonte feature talon (kept the colour in the same hue family, but with a contrasted/simplified design).
I’m a little concerned that I may require a colour intervention; because people have noted that recently (since the Aussie weather started perking up) I’m really obsessed with multicoloured manicures. In total – Neon yellow, green, black, blue, silver, gold and gold glitter gels…
It’s not a sickness, it my choice – dammit!
This look is serious business; you’ll need to create your framework (black design lines) first, and then work colours into the negitive space. It’s awesome because the options are as limited as your imagination. I kept mine a staggered geometric series of rhombus’, triangles and squares.
If you’re really keen, swap the shape out for figures, landscapes, portraits etc. really have at it!
Neon-Classical Mosaic is really eye-catching, so much that men have been commenting on it. I even had a lovely man, who’s never used nail polish comment on how I could improve the look. I then had to explain that gel polish, especially the neons, are really viscus. Still, very rare for an Aussie bloke to comment on nail art!
So what you think, Darling?
Share your experiences with geometric patterns… How far in did you get, before you regretted the level of detail? (Mine was ’bout half way in!)
